GROUP ABA PROGRAMS (Ages 8-14)
Group participants are matched based on their age, skills, and goals to make the group as fun and successful as possible for everyone.
Our ABA group-based programs allow children to build and strengthen social connections. We offer a variety of groups which are led by our team of Behaviour Therapists and supervised by Registered Behaviour Analysts (R.B.A., Ont.). Our groups range in size from 5-8 participants depending on the needs of your child/youth.
Social Skills
Social Skills: Level 1
Ages 8-11
Skill Level: Early
1 day/week; 12 weeks

This group is designed for early learners or children developing foundational social skills. Children practice requesting items from peers, initiating and responding to greetings, playing alongside others, following routines, and simple turn-taking in group games.

Children strengthen peer connections through play, practicing starting and maintaining interactions, taking turns, sharing, and cooperative play. The group also focuses on early conversation skills, like asking or commenting on topics that interest them, helping children feel confident and engaged in social interactions.

Perfect for children ready to take the lead in the kitchen! In this level, they’ll prepare meals, confidently use most kitchen appliances, and handle clean-up on their own. It’s all about building independence, problem-solving skills, and confidence—empowering them to take charge in the kitchen.

Balanced Bites
Ages 8-11
Skill Level: Intermediate

The group will cover basic information about developing a balanced diet, focus on expanding a child’s repertoire of foods and practice manners/social skills pertaining to food (e.g., appropriate meal conversation, table manners, tidying up after a meal, etc.).

Balanced Bites

This advanced group builds on skills from the intermediate level and focuses on helping children plan and prepared healthy meals using Canada Food Guide. They learn to find and follow recipes while bringing together all the kitchen skills they’ve developed, building confidence and independence in meal preparation.

Working Together

Help your child thrive in group settings! This group focuses on building strong social and teamwork skills. Children will learn to understand and respect different perspectives, practice negotiation and compromise, and tackle problems together—developing the confidence and cooperation skills they need to succeed with peers.
