BEHAVIOURAL CONSULTATIONS
Is your child experiencing challenges with sleep routines and toileting? Our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Registered Behavioural Analyst (R.B.A., Ont.) delivers individualized consultations to equip parents with practical, evidence-based techniques to address these challenges and foster positive growth in children and youth with autism.
This service is ideal for families seeking tailored support for a particular challenge or goal. With a focus on collaboration, we empower families with the tools and knowledge needed to make meaningful progress.
Families will receive:
- Expert Assessment: A BCBA will evaluate your specific concern or goal.
- Individualized Strategies: Evidence-based recommendations tailored to your child and family.
- Practical Tools: Resources and techniques you can implement immediately in your daily routine.
Toileting Strategies
Toileting is a developmental milestone that can be challenging for some children with an autism diagnosis to attain through conventional methodologies. Our Toileting Consultative Program is designed for children under 6 years old and offers hands-on strategies and guidance to address your child’s toileting challenges.
GROUP WORKSHOP | Presentation outlining rationale for the program, review the approach that will be used and what is required for this program. |
INITIAL CONSULTATION | Brief meeting with a BCBA to discuss your child’s current level of toileting skills and the challenges you are experiencing. |
INDIVIDUALIZED WEEKLY FOLLOW-UP SESSIONS | Four 30-minute weekly follow up consultations to check in on strategy implementation and outcomes. |
Exclusionary Criteria:
- Challenging behaviours (e.g., self-injury, aggression, property destruction, elopement) that may present a risk of injury or harm to the child, or others around the child.
- Children on medication for something toilet related (e.g., laxatives)

SKILLS FOR LIFE GROUP PROGRAMS
Group based ABA Services that focus on building skills in the areas of communication, social skills, self-help skills or emotional regulation.
Individualized speech sessions designed to enhance verbal and nonverbal communication, conversational skills, and overall communication needs.
Foundational Family Services are available to all families registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) at no cost.
